David Ashwell was much loved by his wife Yvonne, their three daughters Karen, Lynn and Clare along with their grandchildren Ryan, Joseph, Neve and Connor and great grandchildren Mark and Frankie. His first great granddaughter Bonnie is due to be born on the 19th November.

Memories of a loving husband, father and grandfather, a retired police officer with an exemplary and wide reaching career and a good friend to many. He always had a story to tell, his point of view to share or advice to give. David was a lifelong Manchester United fan, avid golfer and chef extraordinaire. Devoted to his wife and extremely proud of his daughters, he will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
